I’m getting my first Steam Deck for Christmas and suffering from analysis paralysis on which games to get first lol (especially as I’ll have to be more limited on what I spend than I’d like), so I was curious what AAA games you’ve played on the SD that you enjoyed the most so far.
The one I’d really love to play is Baldur’s Gate 3 but I‘ve seen a lot of mixed reactions on how well it plays on the SD so I’d probably wait to play it especially as I’m not very technologically literate lol. But some others I’m considering are Cyberpunk 2077, Witcher 3, Elden Ring, Skyrim, Fallout 4, RDR2, and Sekiro
I’ve played about 65 hours of Skyrim on my Deck and it’s been great on both performance and battery life. I get an estimated 5 hours on Medium @ 40hz. Diablo 4, if that’s your kind of thing, also runs well. That’s probably the most recent AAA game I’ve played on it. I really want to get Baldur’s Gate 3 eventually. It seems like performance continues to improve with each update. I’m interested to see the gains after they release on Xbox since they had to get it to run on the Series S.

It was only split screen co-op which caused issues on the Series S.
