Typically most of my devices get full download speed at 300+mbp/s, no matter where I’m standing in the building.(that’s what I pay for), but the OLED steam deck mostly hovers around 200mbps even when standing next to the router, I’m on 5ghz. My router is WiFi 6.

Seems like after the recent steamOS update it is now hovering around 260-280mbps.

I will say though the downloads are more consistent on the OLED, the LCD would stay at around 300-360mbps, but sometimes would randomly drop to the low 100s then shoot back up to 300.

Anyone else experience this? It’s the 1TB LE, the m.2 hits 4gbps when it’s verifying or transferring files.

I agree, it’s kind of annoying as this is one area i was hoping it would excel. I’m worried it’s a fault, but then if others are getting the same it must be how it is! Just feels crazy for something at this price. I was tempted to send it in for RMA but I think a new one would be the same. My phone and tablet run better, I just don’t get it.

If the WiFi drivers were available for windows I would test this too, but thats a waiting game Have you swapped your SSD at all, or are you all stock?
