Sold mine for $200, 64gb LCD, included nothing except the case and charger. It was parents looking for a Christmas gift for their kid.
I know I could get $225-$250 but they were communicative and showed good interest, so I was willing to make a deal, they also drove to me. Pretty good deal for them because my LCD steam deck was in nearly perfect condition.
biggranny000@alien.topBtoSteam Deck•I was perfectly happy with my OG LCD SD. Then I spent a day on this sub. Why are you guys like this?English1·2 years agoIt’s a massive upgrade, I went from the 64gb LCD (I was rocking a 1tb microSD) to the 1TB OLED LE. This is how the steam deck should have been from day one.
biggranny000@alien.topOPBtoSteam Deck•Slower download speeds on OLED model vs LCD.English1·2 years agoYeah my signal is also weaker, in my bedroom not even that far from the router (like 20-30 feet) it’s only 2 bars. Standing right next to the router, it’s 3 bars. My LCD steam deck got 4 bars everywhere except sometimes in my bedroom it dropped to 3 bars.
biggranny000@alien.topBtoLaptops•Is this okay? My laptop performance when running a few appsEnglish1·2 years agoMost laptops have super easy RAM upgrades, just open it up and install a new kit, assuming the ram isn’t soldered. What’s your laptop model?
Windows is smart enough to allocate ram where it needs, but windows 11 is a giant ram hog for no reason. You will get performance drops, stutters, and other issues if you run out of RAM.
biggranny000@alien.topBtoLaptops•Lenovo legion 5 pro after 1 year, is this normal? I don't use it in dirty environments or in bed often, idk how it got so badEnglish1·2 years agoIf you use your laptop 24/7 and leave it always running then yeah even in a clean environment this would make sense.
I use my laptop occasionally over a few years and there was almost no dust in my fans.
It’s important to vacuum your living space frequently and keep your laptop on a desk. If you have pets, they exponentially increase dust intake. Having this level of dust in one year just points at a high level of dust environment.
I would clean it every 3 months if this is what you gathered over a year. You lost a lot of performance and efficiency overtime, you will gain it back once it’s cleaned though.
It was stock, 64gb was fine because I added a 1TB microSD which surprisingly worked great for games.
