- Intels mobile chips have been systems on a chip (or really package) for some years now. Meteor lake is actually no different than it’s predecessors in this regard aside from not having a desktop version with the SOC bits removed.

- Motherboards cost a lot mainly due to cost of all the layers needed for routing and integrity of high speed signals. Also power management.
