After seeing both in person I could never go back from the glossy screen. What makes me sad is outlier ego work really hard for their money and nose need to pretend or justify their matte screen. If you can still return do it! Glossy is 100% worth it

The glossy has a bit better colors/blacks, the etched has a bit better visibility in brightly lit environments. Case closed. Nothing to have hard feelings about.
That’s fair. Outside etched is better. Inside glossy is better. I always play inside
It has been shown in numerous comparisons that there is little to no difference in the dark and the etched can be even better than glossy in sunlight/direct light. Really not sure what your talking about here

I’ll just say this. Everyone can get what they want but my two reasons (besides price lol) is the following:
1 : I liked how the glossy looked on my LCD version
2 : I like how my iPhone OLED screen looks glossy
I’m used to it now so it would be my natural selection more often than not.
(I will say tho upon closer inspection my computer monitor has a matte finish lol…very interesting)

I’ve seen both. Still prefer matte. Love both my 512GB LCD and 1TB OLED. So not entirely sure why you should feel bad for people liking things you don’t like? 🤷🏻♂️
