What’s wrong with this battery saver app on my FP4? It doesn’t give me warnings about apps draining batteries even though I have that setting on. There isn’t even an option for it to automatically turn on when your battery is below a certain percentage. How u guys deal with that?

What app exactly? What you’re describing is included in Android for a very, very long time. Can you share a screenshot of this “app” you talk about?

Just the standard battery application on the phone. I guess it’s Google? You can access it in the phone settings. I know it’s nothing new, but this one is different from the one on my previous android. It had an option to turn on automatically and it actually gave out a warning when apps were draining a lot of battery. unlike this one. Believe it or not.

And that’s exactly what it also does on Fairphone ;) That’s native Android functionality. I enable the battery safer automatically at 35% and it does highlight unusual high battery usage by app.

Mine definitely doesn’t turn on automatically. I don’t know how to turn it on. I’ve never gotten any warning of high battery draining like I had on my previous android. And I do have that function on. Glad it’s working for you. I’m sorry you don’t believe me. I don’t mean to annoy anyone.

I don’t know why you assume it’s not there if it’s part of native Android. Settings --> Battery & Charging --> Battery Saver. And in Battery usage you can see the warnings for apps that use up more power than usual. If you don’t see any, then it’s not happening.

I find that doubtful because I got them when using my last phone. I’ve never gotten any warnings ever since I got this phone. I’m using the same apps. Wouldn’t it be weird if all of a sudden none of the apps are draining the battery anymore ever since I have a different phone? Maybe it really never happens but it seems odd to me.
