I don’t know why you assume it’s not there if it’s part of native Android. Settings --> Battery & Charging --> Battery Saver. And in Battery usage you can see the warnings for apps that use up more power than usual. If you don’t see any, then it’s not happening.

And that’s exactly what it also does on Fairphone ;) That’s native Android functionality. I enable the battery safer automatically at 35% and it does highlight unusual high battery usage by app.

What app exactly? What you’re describing is included in Android for a very, very long time. Can you share a screenshot of this “app” you talk about?

The FP5 does have the military drop test certificate. IP55 is I suppose what most people need, protection from the rain. IP68 would be very nice though.
