I just bought a family member an S23U. I’m actually holding it now and it’s a very nice device. The sound it produces is amazing as well. It’s slightly bigger than my current S20+, which has rounded corners. I underestimated these round corners because it makes holding and browsing the web for longer periods of time so much more comfortable. Because of this, I’m now starting to consider the S24+ instead of the S24U (as long as the S24+ comes with 12gb of ram). Another thing is that I’m pretty active which would make the Ultra model more difficult to carry while running. The Ultras gets a lot of attention here so seeing if anyone is planning on getting the other S24 models.

I would pay for the S24U if it wasn’t so ugly, I’d rather have less featured and get the S24+

I agree with the comment about the case.

I switched to 23u from regular 21. I loved smaller phones for ergonomics and I still do. But lesser battery life cause of the smaller battery made me switch to ultra and try it. When you use a case with your phone, you don’t feel any sharpness at all. One handed mode also helps when you need 1 hand and a smaller screen to operate. Overall I am glad that I went for ultra for the boxy design, extra screen when you need it, extra battery and 10x optical zoom. Extra storage and RAM was also a bonus.

I like the plus models the most because it’s got the size you want with the nice frame. The ultra is a better camera and a couple other small things you won’t notice u less your a heavy gamer. For an everyday casual user go for the 24 or the plus if you want bigger phone

Getting none. I’m not compromising ergonomics for camera. Or paying flagship prices for not the best they have to offer. I’m more excited about the tab S10+.

I’ve used a S22U for over 1.5 years, and have just upgraded to the S23U.

With the right case, the edges are a non issue.

Given it’s such a big phone you need a case that allows you to handle it properly. I use either a strap case or the cases with flip stand that I can use to get a better grip.

It’s definitely not one for someone with small hands lol.

    Dear Samsung,

I am writing to you as a loyal customer and a fan of your innovative products. I have been using your smartphones for years and I am always impressed by the quality, design, and performance of your devices.

However, I have noticed that there is a gap in the market for a smartphone that is truly powered by artificial intelligence. A smartphone that can learn from the user’s preferences, habits, and needs, and provide personalized and proactive services. A smartphone that can interact with the user through natural language, voice, and gestures, and offer smart suggestions, recommendations, and solutions. A smartphone that can integrate with other smart devices and platforms, and create a seamless and connected experience for the user.

I believe that Samsung has the potential and the resources to create such a smartphone, and become the first company to offer a truly AI-powered device. I think that this would be a great opportunity for Samsung to showcase its leadership and innovation in the field of artificial intelligence, and to attract and retain more customers who are looking for a smarter and more convenient way of using their smartphones.

I have done some research and I have found some examples of how artificial intelligence can be applied to smartphones, such as:

[Google Pixel 4]: This smartphone uses AI to improve its camera performance, such as adjusting the exposure, white balance, and focus, and creating stunning photos in low-light conditions.

[Huawei Mate 40 Pro]: This smartphone uses AI to enhance its battery life, such as optimizing the power consumption, detecting the user’s behavior, and adjusting the screen brightness and resolution.

[LG G8 ThinQ]: This smartphone uses AI to enable gesture control, such as allowing the user to unlock the phone, take screenshots, and adjust the volume with hand motions.

These are just some of the examples of how AI can improve the functionality and usability of smartphones, but I think that there is much more potential for AI to create a unique and personalized smartphone experience for each user.

I hope that you will consider my proposal and think about developing the first AI-powered smartphone. I think that this would be a game-changer for the smartphone industry and a great achievement for Samsung. I would love to hear your thoughts and feedback on this idea.

Thank you for your time and attention.

    Sincerely,

    Your loyal customer

Besides the fact that the base and plus models look ugly and cheap, the price of the plus is just insane to me for what you get. How can they possibly ask for $1000 for it when phones like the NP2 $699, P8P $999, and OP11 $699 exist. It’s definitely not $200-300 better than the NP2 or OP11, and the P8P is a much better value at the same price.

For me its either the s24 or s24u why not s24+ well it just doesn’t make sense to me like the price gap between s23+ and s23u in my country is litrally $150 more and you just get a lot more for your buck

YES! This is my exact problem here too! I used to own a S20 FE with the Orange Peach color and honestly for my hands, I felt the S20 FE was too massive holding it with one hand only (I measured it once and it was 159.something mm tall, basically rounded up to 160mm.) I immediately sold the S20 FE within the first 6 months of my ownership and I got another S10e costing me $230 including taxes but with the 256GB / 8GB RAM configuration (my first S10e has the 128GB / 6GB RAM config.)
