Steam Deck was my first time ever emulating or installing mods! I would highly recommend Emudeck, just go to their website and they will walk you through everything. You just need to find and download your own Roma and pop them in the mods folder for that system. (Emudeck will create the folders for you!).
Love playing old Tony Hawk games, and just replayed Paper Mario TTYD which is my fav game of all time!
