I agree with everything except the embarrassment part. In China, the ends justify the means. They don’t care if they get caught or if westerners think they should feel shameful.

Chinese mentality is that if there is a loophole or exploit or shortcut that you don’t take advantage then that’s you being stupid. Everything is basically fair game.

That mentality collapses societies after some time. It’s already happening in a lot of places. It’s cancerous

Could you give an example of a society that collapsed because they achieved too much success through unscrupulous means? Many of the wealthiest societies in the world presently saw their wealth and power increase due to unethical practices that were justified by the ends justifying the means. For example many European countries spent centuries taking resources from other people across the globe, and the US famously leveraged the ownership of humans as property to develop vast agricultural wealth. Modern successful countries like South Korea subjected their people to incredibly brutal work conditions with the promise that they would gain wealth for future generations (which they did).

I can’t really think of a society that collapsed due to their success coming from unethical sources

This sounds identical to rich Americans. If you don’t take advantage of every tax loophole and possible way to milk money from people then that is you being stupid…

I agree with the tax loop hole on an individual level, not if it’s a corporation.

I didn’t used but now I’ve seen how they waste tax money the government can kiss my ass.
