I already have the OLED on the way! Not really a PC gamer and have a ton of xbox games already. i pay for the xbox game pass core.

If core doesn’t include cloud streaming, then no.
Is the game lower quality if you go that route?
Quality depends on your internet connection with cloud streaming. I have zero complaints with it personally but I have gigabit internet.
It’s the only route for steam deck. There’s no native Linux support for gamepass, you have to stream games if you want to play on deck.
