Any experience with these 2 games? I really want to get one of them.

They both run fine, 4 runs a bit better by default. I thi k you should base your decision on which game you want to play.

Bought 4 earlier this week and have really been enjoying it. Haven’t played since probably 2010.

I have a mix of high and medium and locked FPS to 40. Silky smooth and battery is about 3 hours on a full charge.

Both run really well. However, you can make GTA4 even better by using DXVK and Proton Experimental. Drop the .dll in the game folder and it’ll get rid of all of the stuttering, while netting you even more performance/power saving.

I played it a few months ago with graphics set to more or less max, and still managed to limit TDP to 15w. Absolutely fantastic experience.

GTA5 runs well out of the box too, and can be improved again with DXVK/Proton Experimental. Straight OOB though, it’ll run fine without any issues. Just make sure you install it to your internal SSD rather than SD cause you can cause some stutter/pop-in if your SD isn’t a particularly fast one.
