Genuine question: what’s the use of under display finger print reader? Let’s say you can reduce the costs by $100 if you have a fingerprint reader on the power button. Would you take it?

Yes I would take it, I like the idea of having multiple options for biometric authentication. I said under display because that is looking to be the future - you can see this in recent galaxy phones

I’d settle for an all-screen display and touchID on the power button, like that one iPad.

I’m really not a fan of the notch/Dynamic Island…though at least the latter actually does useful things.

        Opposite for me.

I don’t want to remove my gloves during the winter to pay using Apple Pay.

I actually like looking at the screen to unlock it to read notifications while not having to pick it up (particularly in work and also in Gym)

So for me, FaceId > All screen display

All screen display + FaceId >>>>> Dynamic Island.

If Apple can bring both faceId and All screen display then I’m sold.
