Just thinking about the position of some console companies is rooted on closed eviroments and exclusives like, for example, if nintendo published their games on other platforms probably steam deck would replace it right away (IMO) do you think it would also affect companies like play station or xbox?
If we’re talking handhelds then yes, but consoles are still more powerful and not everyone is into handheld gaming. It would definitely outdo the switch because the only thing switch would have is it’s detachable controllers and motion controls.
And a significantly more user-friendly experience. Steam Deck is great, but it is not something I’d just hand someone with little knowledge of a computer/gaming.
