Hi all, like many of you probably did, I downloaded the first Half Life game when it was free. Now I wanted to try it out for the very first time in my life and seeing as it got recently Deck verified I expecteted it to run flawleslly. Well speaking of „run“. I‘m using the offical control sceme provided by Valve and every single command key is working except the left stick. No matter what I try Gordon won‘t move an inch. What did I do wrong? Did I accidentaly delete the left control stick command? I didn‘t fiddle around with the controls before I started the game so I‘m totally lost at what might be the problem? Maybe one of you could help me out?
This happened to me. I think they builds yes the controller profile when they patched the game, but because I had played it before the update on the deck, it was using my old profile which wasn’t mapped properly. Remap your analog stick to be a direction pad and do each direction as WSAD. That should fix it.
Thanks a lot that was exactly the problem. Now it‘s fixed and I can finally enjoy that classic!
