This happened to me. I think they builds yes the controller profile when they patched the game, but because I had played it before the update on the deck, it was using my old profile which wasn’t mapped properly. Remap your analog stick to be a direction pad and do each direction as WSAD. That should fix it.

It works really well, better than the solution Microsoft put out. It also gives you an option add individual games to steam so you can click them and launch right into it. Works nicely for local streaming from your Xbox too if you have one. For the small cost I’d say it’s the best solution for cloud and remote play on the deck.
