I’ve set up Sunshine on the PC to stream games to the SD via Moonlight. It’s excellent so far. I’m looking for a DisplayPort 1.4 plug to run 1280x800@90Hz or 1920x1200@90Hz headless on the PC but can’t seem to find one. The closest I’ve found is DP1.2 and advertised speeds of 60Hz across all resolutions (seems wrong). Does this exist? Should I focus on a software solution instead?
Alternative being something like a custom virtual display driver from mikethetech (https://youtu.be/byfBWDnToYk?si=zSnYs1TDqQYB28fB)
Why not just a hdmi plug? I’ve got a hdmi dummy plug and it supports pretty much everything. I don’t think it explicitly has 90hz, but has 60/120/240. I just chose 120 and cap fps at 90 in game, or you can probably do it globally as well.
You can just set a custom resolution in the nvidia control panel, probably something similar on amd cards.
