I have this Netgear router (RAXE500)

I assumed WiFi 6E was synonymous with 6GHz WiFi. Is there something I’m missing? Does a WiFi 6E chip in the new Steam Deck not necessarily mean that it can connect to a 6GHz network? Is it just improved speeds over 5GHz? Thanks for any advice…
I was able to connect to my dedicated 6Ghz SSID on a Unifi 6E access point, might either be your router needing to do an update or your Deck. A lot of my Wifi 6E enabled devices did not see my 6ghz at first, but after some updates on my access points and devices, they’re all working now.
Yes. Make sure that your router supports it and that you have set up a 6e broadcast.
