I apologize for asking here in public spaces but I’ve tried googling and can’t find an answer.
I have this Netgear router (RAXE500)
https://www.netgear.com/home/wifi/routers/raxe500/

I assumed WiFi 6E was synonymous with 6GHz WiFi. Is there something I’m missing? Does a WiFi 6E chip in the new Steam Deck not necessarily mean that it can connect to a 6GHz network? Is it just improved speeds over 5GHz? Thanks for any advice…

Yes. Make sure that your router supports it and that you have set up a 6e broadcast.
