They absolutely undersold how much of an upgrade this thing really is! The fact that I can play rdr2 @ 45fps with 3 hours of battery while my deck stays cool and fans are super low is actual insanity. This really is the definitive handheld pc experience and the screen is unmatched :’)

60fps should really be standard by now
Not every game runs at 60 fps unless you mod it.
It depends on the devices.
What’s with the clickbait title?
Poor choice of title. Got the steam deck Friday and I’m loving it. A dream. Some caveats … I’m old and I have a decent steam library. Those two facts explained … I didn’t have to buy games for it … I have older games ( Tomb Raider, the first one from recent trilogy is locked 90 fps everything medium ). Spider-Man running at 40 is really good. Ratchet and clank a touch ropey. Dishonoured running from sd micro as good as running from ssd.
Try Bioshock Infinite. Runs 90fps and looks incredible on OLED.

I have Bioshock on it runs well. Will get infinite downloaded. Not impressed with deathloop. I’ll tweak the refresh rate. Also don’t understand fsr. Why make the game look shite.
