I’ve been playing through FF7 remake and the explosions sear my retinas lol
Baldurs gate 3
TLDR: everything
Yep. Literally anything with lots of blacks, lots of vibrant colors, or both will immediately look much better on an OLED. And wouldn’t you know it, the vast majority of games fall in that bucket.
Anno mutationem runs at 90fps max settings and the cyberpunk aesthetic looks incredible on the OLED
Star Ocean: The Second Story R. It was a game literally made for a handheld, remastered to look even better on a handheld, benefitting from one of the greatest handheld upgrades we’ve seen.
Persona 5!!!
Every game because OLED is technically and literally better than a LCD display
Need for Speed Unbound looks outstanding on it. It’s already naturally got a very bold, colorful graphical style and on the OLED display those colors just punch you in the retinas.
Dope - no issues with the launcher? I bought Unbound earlier this year and had to refund it because it just wouldn’t play, if it’s solid I may buy it again!
There’s a really stupid little workaround you have to do to get it to install - you have to start the game, then start any other game, then quit the new game and switch back to Need for Speed.
After that the EA installer will appear; from there everything works perfectly.
Cyberpunk looks stunning.
I still can’t believe how well it RUNS for how good it looks.
Metroid Fusion
Octopath Traveler 2 looks stunning.
Doom Eternal looks amazing in HDR and pretty much runs at 90fps on ultra settings
Ì’ve been playing Star Wars : Jedi Fallen Order and it’s blowing my mind
Hades
Hades was the first game I booted up and compared with my LCD deck… it looks sooooo much better!
Hades looks incredible, I just get lost looking at how nice it is.
The sword explosion is a valid complaint among fans in FF7R. I had to stop for a while.
Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Dead Space 2 Red Dead Redemption
These I’m playing right now and all look great.
