I just received my OLED LE and after signing in and getting it set up, I did the various tests of issues I saw in this Reddit.
Absolutely no issues. I first checked all buttons. Every button feels as it should (I had an LCD Deck previously) and all buttons function. Then I checked what panel it has, and confirmed it’s BOE. Then did the scariest text last…dead pixels. Absolutely no dead pixels.
I had the feeling that the amount of people saying they had problems with their LE Deck just appeared higher in comparison to the amount of LE Decks actually shipped out. So this is a positivity post for those worried about their LE Decks that there are in fact LE Decks with no issues! 😁
Using Samsung screens doesn’t solve the problem, since those are all experiencing bad mura and green tint. The best screen is actually the BOE with no dead pixels. Definitely RMA for the bad pixels, but assuming you get a good one, it’s win.
the best screen is no dead pixels
LE copium
it has reliability issues it can develop dead pixels later on
What are these reliability issues?
You know, the ones that are non-existant because the device has only been out for like 2 weeks.
