I prefer the ergonomics of the deck but the newer Crkd Nitro Deck helps tremendously with that. That thing actually made me consider upgrading to the OLED switch.

This is a fair take on it too.
It’s Reddit and the vocal minority. This shit happens with every release of any product. Yes, there will be defective units. It happens. That’s not the norm though. If you believe Reddit, every person with a LE will be caught in an endless cycle of RMA and never have one that will work while valve drinks the blood of their first born child.
I wonder if BOE panels are actually more likely to have dead pixels or if this is a case of the vocal minority. It’s always hard to tell because with a lot of issues like this, they get blown way outta proportion on Reddit.
If the scratch isn’t too deep a screen protector may actually make it to where you can’t see it.
I normally don’t like electronics that are clear so I ordered the normal 1 TB. I’ve been seeing lots of pics of this LE and might be regretting my decision.
