Hello All,
Posting from my iPhone…….
How the hell do I use a wallpaper? It shows up in gallery but nothing when I click to add the wallpaper.
Also, why are the buttons so small and unresponsive?
I am really regretting my purchase. Not because I can’t return but because the sales are now over.
I also can’t remove apps from the Home Screen I will never use. I need to throw them all in an ugly folder to sit there meaninglessly.
Anyone have suggestions?
Update: got the wallpaper. Had to download google photos and look at photos on the device. Can’t find them in gallery or files but apparently they are on the device somewhere. Downloading google photos just to set a wallpaper…
Maybe im an idiot but none of this seems intuitive.
What model? What do you mean can’t remove icons? What buttons are you talking about? You can customize damned near everything on modern samsungs, largely using goodlock. Explain a bit more me or somebody else can help. Wallpaper just long press on homescreen background.
Thank you for responding. I think i figured out how to circumvent some of my annoyances. The task bar size setting was hidden outside of the taskbar settings. I put all the apps I couldn’t delete in an ugly folder where they can needlessly eat resources. I do not understand why I need to use Google photos to set a background but here we are. It was really fun figuring all this out on a device where the buttons are too small to press and I Couldn’t close out apps.
Regarding training wheels, usability and intuitiveness shouldn’t be referred to as bumpers. I spent time with customer support where they gave me wrong info. I also watched YouTube videos. I’m starting to think most android users have no idea what the iPhone can do in terms of customization. I’ll shit on Apple all day when they deserve it but it seems like android users are all fanboys.
I was kind of hoping for freedom with samsung but it seems to try to control more than my iPhone. It’s like how microsoft forces edge on you. I’ll keep practicing, but I am very disappointed in the initial user experience and customer support.
