Hi guys, quick question: is Galaxy as safe as iPhone when gets stolen? If iPhone is stolen the thief can’t access the data, can’t use the phone, can’t restore it to resell it, and most importantly I can locate it even when it’s turned off, a big risk for the thief then to take it with him. With Galaxy is it the same, identical level of security and convenience in case of theft? Fully armored, non-restorable and trackable even when turned off? Thanks!
Both are not safe. Google frp can be easily bypassed, and icloud lock can be removed with plist.
Everything can be accessed . The thing is ,nobody cares about your data . They are stealing it for the value of the phone ,which will be reset easily .
No, If the device has a pin there’s no easy way to access the data
Nothing is easy ,if you don’t know how to do it …but if you do ,…
I know a person who iPhone was stolen and the person who stole it actually was able to login to the phone. Including trying to act like him too.
Why you lying unnecessarily and unprovoked?
No, you got go into boot loader with up and power button or something like that, it’s a complete reset and then you can just put in a new google account.
Android is nowhere near IOS is this unfortunately.
That’s like 7 Android OS updates ago. You can’t do that anymore without password resets unless you use some software.
Did you even try that? Factory Reset Protection is a thing. Will ask for the last use password even after reset.
Even with all that "security ",people are still stealing iphones like a motorcycle and sending them to china.im glad no one wants my galaxy lmao.
I’m actually glad the S line looks almost the same as the A line. They won’t be able to tell if I got a budget phone or a flagship from a distance (unless I had an Ultra).
There’s no way for the thieves to recover your data but they can completely reset it using FRP and use it like a brand new phone.
Or just simply sell it as parts.
FRP prevents exactly that reuse. It asks for that last user account password.
iPhone is not infallible, there are ways to bypass security
inb4 influencers start viralling AnDrOiD uNsEcUrE by en masse as diversion
Iphones can also be reset as new as far as I know. Harder to do than android but can be done. But both in Android and iOS your data is encrypted, so even if the phones can be reset, no one can access your data.
Google “iCloud locked”
