Hi guys, quick question: is Galaxy as safe as iPhone when gets stolen? If iPhone is stolen the thief can’t access the data, can’t use the phone, can’t restore it to resell it, and most importantly I can locate it even when it’s turned off, a big risk for the thief then to take it with him. With Galaxy is it the same, identical level of security and convenience in case of theft? Fully armored, non-restorable and trackable even when turned off? Thanks!

There’s no way for the thieves to recover your data but they can completely reset it using FRP and use it like a brand new phone.

Or just simply sell it as parts.

FRP prevents exactly that reuse. It asks for that last user account password.
