I just ordered the new OLED Steam Deck a couple of days a go and am wondering about all the things I could use it for. Most of these cases will likely just be from the comfort of my home, where I also have my gaming PC setup on the same network. This had me wondering, what’s the point of even running the games on the Deck if I can just run the games on my steam library from my PC and stream it to the deck?

I’m mostly wondering what the ins and outs of using it like this are and how people go about this. Are there any major downsides to streaming more intensive games from a PC? Either way, super excited to receive my Steam Deck and the docking station any day now!

I don’t use Remote Play itself much, but I use Sunshine + Moonlight more, because it seems more performant on my wifi setup.
