I got all the emulators and everything from emudeck and they all work fine but a couple of them like rpcs3 and dolphin you can’t access the options and configurations while in game for some reason. Rpcs 3 I was able to make a non-steam game and open it from gaming mode. But for some reason dolphin will not open no matter what proton I pick. Have any of you been able to get it to work? I need to remap some controls for a specific game but obviously I can’t do that in desktop mode because you don’t have access to the buttons in desktop mode. Thank you guys for all of your help by the way

In Desktop mode, hold down start, this will switch from Desktop controls to gamepad controls.
browsers are the same, or most applications that rely on the desktop/gtk stuff, amazed they havent fixed that issue considering the scope of applications it pretty much breaks or impedes.
EmuDeck will have added a tool called SteamRomManager to your desktop - it can add all emulators to Steam for you (and shortcuts for individual emulated games if you want, although I leave that part)

this is the problem right here. the main ways to get emulators are either as flatpak or an appimage . neither of them use proton they are native apps if you set it to use proton it will break them.
So what do I use to open it then? It opens fine on desktop mode and obviously when I’m in relation station just not if I’m trying to open it directly from game mode
