Planning to buy an SD in the US to get it cheaper. Wondering if the warranty still works in other regions since I plan to upgrade the joystick and SSD. In my region, there are only 3rd party sellers.
On a side note, is it better to get the 64gb and then upgrade it rather than get the 512gb?
no. valve does not offer international warranty. I bought my SD in US and needed a RMA from Mexico. I shipped to Valve and then had it sent to a friend’s house and picked it up recently. so if this one has problems I would have to send it back to US again.
