I have a constant notification for a voicemail that I can’t clear unless I call the dumb voicemail number for t mobile and do a bunch of annoying stuff to listen to it then delete it when I don’t ever wanna use that because I have visual voicemail instead that works way better. I can’t turn off phone notifications so it won’t go away permanently. I don’t want to have to call a voicemail number each time this happens I just want my primary and only voicemail to be visual voicemail. Tried googling stuff but couldn’t find help because it just says turn notifications off for phone app but it won’t let me and I’m not even sure I’d even want to do that.
Do you have T-Mobile’s visual voicemail app installed?
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tmobile.vvm.application
If so, that should clear the notification when you delete a voicemail message in it, without having to call.
Another option, if you do have to call, is to just press the 7 key while a message is playing and that will delete it. You don’t have to wait for it to finish.
Yes I do and when I listened to the notification through that app the other one still kept showing up. But thank you for the help I really appreciate it
Your welcome.
The last option would be to call into customer service and have them delete your voicemail inbox and create a new one.
