I know the resolution must be lower than native, but one guide states the game must be windowed while others make no remarks on this. Will FSR work regardless of whether the game is played in fullscreen or not?

    Not specifically for FSR, but the output resolution of the game would need to be less than native, and some games do not let you set a non-native resolution without using windowed or borderless windowed.

    It seems to depend on the game. Maybe because some games don’t have real exclusive fullscreen mode, and others do. In some games FSR doesn’t work at lower res unless you enable windowed mode.

    It shouldn’t matter as long as the resolution is lower than native. If you set the performance overlay to level 4 it’ll tell you if FSR is being used or not.
