I’ve never owned an iphone but I want to try one as my android phone is about to die. First one that came to my mind was the IPhone13 for the price, but maybe there are better models with the same price range. Could you help me? Also, the camera is not a huge priority to me. Thanks!
if the model is not yet 5 years old at the of its release, it’s still worth it
Had android forever since i got my first iphone 13 and its great, face id is soo nice and the UI experience feels so much smoother i also the customization is enough for average users
it’s still worth it, but depends on a price really, you’re not missing a lot in difference between 15 and 13
I got the iPhone 14 last March. For my uses, I would have been better off with a lower end Samsung, like the A14. I use the iPhone for maybe a total of 10 outgoing voice calls and text a month. Mostly, it is my watch if out of sight of a wall clock and aI listen to music streaming occasionally. It is way too fragile compared to my previous phones, and very slippery. I don’t take pictures on a phone so I can’t comment except my testing when new pictures were just ok. I bought the iPhone for fun after hearing about the Apple ecosystem being superior. No complaints, just a non intuitive learning curve. Make sure the seller teaches you how to turn it on and off before you give them money, smile. Two unlabeled buttons and then a virtual slide on my iPad was ridiculous. My hearing aids pair up via Bluetooth so the missing headphone jack was less important to me. No instructions or power block was annoying, but that did add to Apples profits.
I’d go for the 13pro models if you decide to go that raw. That way you get the better display and a few other features.
Still using my base iPhone 13. It is more than adequate for what I do with it. Some complain about the camera but it works fine for me, and I use mine almost every day.
iPhone 13 is basically iPhone 14, so one year old. It’s going to be okay.
I use a base iPhone 13 for work. It’s perfectly fine and not meaningfully slower than an iPhone 15 in day to day tasks.
It seems that most flagship phones have entered crazy price territory. Android has a bunch of cheap or cheaper options of course, but you get what you pay for. If the price is crazy (true for so many of us), then the used, Apple refurbished, or factory refurbished on Amazon are a decent way to go. Or the used market, slightly more risk, but often worth it.
Marketing rules, now. iPhones last ages and personally, it’s always been my strategy to buy old/seconds once my current phone runs into an issue that I simply cannot fix. I just went from the original 2015/16 SE to an 11 Pro and it’s mind-blowing. The 11 Pro cost me $270 second-hand. The SE cost me roughly the same from a family member back in the day. Periodically do a fresh install of iOS and get the battery switched every other year and you’re laughing. There is zero need for latest and greatest.
I just bought a Verizon iPhone 13 from Walmart today on a Black Friday deal (online only). $300 post paid over three years. They have the same deal for ATT. Not sure what country you’re in or what provider you currently have but passing this along FYI.
I think so! You’ll be enjoying it still for several years.
Even iPhone 11 is still worth it . Probably better than most mid rangers from the Android camp still.
I have a 14 pro max also ,but most times I end up carrying my 11 because of size , weight and the lack of need for 5g .
Thanks for all the answers!
I’m going to buy the iPhone 13 as many of you say it’s still a great phone.
