  • I’ve discovered over time that I like variety and changing out my case every 6-8 months, and rotating through them (or choosing a case for when I travel, camp, snowboard, etc.).

I’ve had Apple cases, Spigen, Otterbox, Latercase, ESR, Pitaka, and a variety of knockoffs from AliExpress.

Currently, only because I got them for free as an Apple good will, I’m sporting the Apple silicone and Finewoven on my 15 Pro Max.

My biggest thing now is feel, looks and more than ever, weight! The new pro feels a lot lighter so don’t want a case to wreck that. Also need it to be compatible with magsafe charging which I use at home and in the car.

I’d post a picture, but pictures of phones and cases could get me banned from the sub, so yeah…

It seems that most flagship phones have entered crazy price territory. Android has a bunch of cheap or cheaper options of course, but you get what you pay for. If the price is crazy (true for so many of us), then the used, Apple refurbished, or factory refurbished on Amazon are a decent way to go. Or the used market, slightly more risk, but often worth it.
