Yeah, that kind of sucks for them. Half the purpose of their product, the improved color accuracy, is now obsolete. What’s more is that the DeckHD probably isn’t even compatible with the OLED Deck, so the growth of their audience is going to be very limited now.
I honestly feel bad for them, but hey, maybe they can bounce back. With the Deck OLED’s larger screen, the pixel density will be worse, making a 1200p screen even more of an upgrade. With the OLED’s larger battery, the impact on battery life from a 1200p screen might not be as severe, either. If DeckHD can make a 1200p screen that matches the stock screen in every other aspect, it could be a fantastic product.

The impressions of the DPI of the OLED hasn’t gotten worse, seems to be the opposite.
