And now it’s 50 bucks cheaper than it was on sale PLUS I could’ve just gotten a 512gb OLED instead for just a bit more??? Seems kind of messed up of Valve to discount a soon to be obsolete product without telling anyone the refresh is right around the corner. They really made it seem like the steam deck upgrade would be years away… Is it wrong to feel robbed?
Eh. It happens. Welcome to an economy based on fiat currency. Discounting a product in order to get your inventory down to zero? That’s just normal business practice. This was bound to happen with all the $1k portable alternatives out there. Valve continues to go for the better value solid product to sell more games on their storefront.
