Yes I get that it kind of sucks having just bought one and then a new one gets announced but some people are in a panic now. Your Deck is not obsolete. It is still the best handheld pc you can buy right now. Enjoy it.

    I’m happy for whoever picks up the OLED version. I’ve had my SD since Jan this year, I’ve played so many games on it, it’s been a wonderful experience that I wouldn’t have had cause my gaming laptop is sputtering at this point.

    I’ll hold onto my model until the SD2 comes out. I actually play most of my games docked to my TV, so the OLED is not a big deal to me, but this is a sign that the SD is successful and valve is putting a lot of resources into it. That’s a bright future for us SD adopters!

      I’ve been using mine more handheld than I thought I would. SteamOS 3.5 will be getting a color profile though so that should be interesting. OLED really is tempting, but not sure if I’ll bite.
