Alright you peeps who were there right at the start of the original Steam Deck launch-- What types of things should I know/do for the best chance of grabbing a LE OLED?
Is it better to load my steam wallet ahead of time vs. using a credit card? Did the site crash right at launch time, should I expect to be refreshing for a while? I’m obsessing and I must know!
Load ur steam wallet first, be at the website a good 5-10 min before, and pray that your wifi is good enough.
When you say load, do you mean fund it? Or just have the page loaded?
Logout and login not long before the sale time. The first reservation I had to confirm my login to make the purchase and it was impossible with the amount of people doing it.
Site will crash and you’ll need to do alot of refreshing. I went through all that to secure Q2, only to be unable to afford it when the time came bc life lol.
I expect it to go fast, but traffic might not be as bad as back then, bc everyone was under lockdown and many more ppl were resellers.
