Not as far as I know. I did mine on Sunday on my new deck and it was all fine (used Rufus to write the image onto the USB).

I don’t know much about destiny, but I try to avoid streaming shooting games because every split second counts. Maybe dual boot but since you’re only trying to play destiny, you can just create a small size partition for OS+destiny and keep the rest for steamOS
Trying to sell it but nothing yet 🥲
A lot of the negativity gets highlighted because most people that have a perfect device don’t post about it. I’m glad yours is perfect too! I also dodged that bullet and my LE is pure perfection
I’m still finishing the playthroughs I was doing on my lcd and right now I’m on vice City definitive edition, and HOLY! Even that game looks amazing. Can’t wait to jump back to cyberpunk
It was the smartest thing they could’ve done. By opening preorders and judging by the LCD release as an experience, most people would’ve tried to order right away to fight scalpers. The anti resell strategy of this release was brilliant and it’s totally worth the wait. I received my PS5 day one when it released, but I had friends waiting months because of that stupid system of preorders then releasing systems slowly
It’s a widespread issue. Look up this sub and there’s a mega thread somewhere. We’re all hoping it’s software issue because if it’s hardware they’ll prob have to do a recall
All OLED panels, not only steam decks are susceptible to dead pixels, but boe seems to be more common. All OLED models have an issue or two, so it’s a gamble nonetheless like LCD was pretty much until Q4. Headphone jack with static sound, mushy dpads and buttons, track pad issues, etc. I got the LE and got lucky with everything else but the headphone jack (it’s a common issue on regular OLEDs too). I am a fan of transparent tech and I thought getting an LE was worth not having to swap it myself like I had to with my LCD. There’s no wrong answer, so follow your heart
Yeah, did my 2tb swap last night and had the same feeling. It was a little more annoying to open than the LCD and that black plate had me second guess myself because I really wanted to unplug the battery first. Some people have carefully yanked it from under the plate and also replaced the SSD without unplugging it or removing the ribbon cable, but I thought it was too risky to do so without seeing what I was actively doing.
It’s a breeze. Just be patient and it’ll be fine!
When you say load, do you mean fund it? Or just have the page loaded?
Jedi survivor, spider man 2, Ragnarok, Hogwarts legacy and a few others. Loved every second and had amazing experiences with the streams performance
