Currently own an iPhone XS and want to make the jump to android, I’ve settled on a Samsung but I’m unsure which to get (I’ll be buying refurbished, if that matters)

Eyeing up the 23, 23 plus and ultra, really don’t know if the plus and ultra are worth the extra money over the base model?

Any input and advice is welcomed as I know next to nothing about Samsungs it android, been an iPhone user for as long as they’ve been a thing but it’s time to leave them behind for a better phone!

I say go with your gut with whatever you feel is the best for you. Right now I have a Galaxy Note20 Ultra and I have to admit that even in 2023 the phone is absolutely amazing. It has 12GBs of RAM and a 100MP camera that can make some photos truly stand out. Not to mention a 120hz display that makes movement smooth. The Note20 Ultra still competes with the most recent flagship phones and is quite cheap now☝️

Nothing against the Note20 Ultra which is a great phone in its own right, but wouldn’t it be better to recommend to a new Android user the latest models rather than a 3+ year old one? The Note 20 Ultra is nearing the end of its ‘supported’ life cycle, while the S22 and S23 will be supported for much longer as Samsung has recently committed towards.
