I just hope i can buy the new screen and throw it in my old one… that’s probably a load of wishful thinking though lol

Fairly disappointed I got the Steam Deck in April and now there’s an OLED version coming. But I’m still happy with it and no need for me to sell my Steam Deck and upgrade.

Now if there were other hardware upgrades (besides the battery) then maybe I would. But until then, I’m happy with the Steam Deck I have.

Honestly probably better to spend that money on therapy, if you could barely afford a steam deck, but are going to buy another one that plays all the same stuff anyway.

If you’re like 16 or 18 years old or something and live in the developed world, at least know that there will probably eventually be a time when a device that costs $400-680 is not going to necessitate a financial recovery in your life. Doesn’t help when you’re young and you don’t have money, but it probably won’t always be like that.

Honestly since I dock whenever I play anyway this doesn’t effect me. Why settle for a smaller screen anyways

Lol this is why I had to be patient and go to the used market, I didn’t want to feel any regrets or tax 😂.

People who aren’t rich are allowed to have fun, and own devices with which to consume fun media.

I mean yes you’re allowed it, but if you cannot afford it, aren’t you just making your life harder by spending money on something that’s basically the same thing you already have?
