I was trying to get rid of the Paradox launcher, and editing launch options to run Cities.x64 was failing. So, I ssh’d into the deck to look at the installed files, and for some reason, I’ve got Cities.exe instead. I’m not forcing compatibility and there is a native Linux version of Cities, so I’m kind of at a loss. Anyone have any ideas as to why its choosing to install the Windows version of the game? Is there any way to force it to install the Linux version?

Usually when Steam forces Proton even though the game has a Linux version, it means the Linux build has some sort of issue. You can still try it anyway by choosing “Steam Linux Runtime” in the Compatibility tab though
