I’m going to buy one of these as an upgrade from a 12th gen. For 90% gaming usage which do you think would be a better way to go? There is only a $180.00 price difference between the two. I’m going to be pairing this with an MSI Z790 EDGE DDR4 motherboard with 4000 CL14 4x8 ram. I also currently already have a corsair 360 AIO. Does the 14900k have a better memory controller? I’ve also read that APO is only available currently on the 14900k? I’m not sure if that’s accurate or not? Which one would you guys go with? Thx
14700K and hopefully plan on getting onto ddr5 at some point.
Memory prices are very good atm. So essentially you just need a solid z790 board because that’s a significant amount performance being left on the table.
Do you actually think so? You need like DDR5 7000 CL32 plus to match the performance of DDR4 CL14 4000?
