assuming that they have a lot of discounted decks to ship out, i was wondering if anyone who placed their order after the price cuts have had their order update. i’m transitioning from having my switch being the RPG machine to the steam deck. just hoping it gets here in time before persona 5 tactica.

Ordered a refurbished about 3 hours after the drop, didn’t ship yet. But I also didn’t expect it to. Not sure where you are, but here in Germany the drop was around 19:00 or so. So if we take out nights, it was two business days. One for processing the order, one for packaging it I suppose, as it does show as packaged. I expect it to ship on Monday or Tuesday.
Steam does say it takes 1-2 weeks to arrive, and after sending it’ll probably be 1-3 days before I get it (if shipped with normal carriers inside the EU), so most of the wait is probably on Valves end.
My refurbished order is packed, but it hasn’t been shipped yet.
I ordered just after the price drop- maybe 4 or so hours.
I also ordered a refurb a few hours after the announcement. It’s showing as packed but hasn’t been picked up by the carrier yet.
I’m hoping for a pickup the first half of this next week, in which case maybe I’ll get lucky and have it delivered closer to 1 week than 2 weeks after ordering.
Ordered mine yesterday. The old 64gb LED. No updates on shipping yet. I just hope I get it before the end of the year.
Update: Ordered old 64G Deck on the 11th. It’s arriving on the 15th. Took them 3 days to package it and notify me, and about 2 days for shipping.
