If the servers are clogged and orders become difficult to put through, what’s the fastest most reliable way? Is the app better than the site? PayPal vs Credit Card vs Wallet funds?

I sold my OG deck and don’t want to be without a new one for too long 😅

The last thing I want is end up at the back of a weeks long queue because I couldn’t get my order in quickly enough.

    Use the Steam Wallet for payment, do not use any other method. Load it up before the 16th. This is how I paid for my launch Deck without any issues.

    Steam Wallet is a risky thing, because if for some reason Valve decides to not let you pay for the Deck with your wallet funds, you’re stuck with the money in your wallet. No way to withdraw it again.

    Oh boy. I remember that day. July 16 IIRC. What a shit show that was lol. Then converting the RT to the estimated batch to ship. Ahhhh yes the good ole days of the steam deck reddit.
