A very simple question, why when someone asks, for example, Galaxy Tab vs ipad on r/samsung, we (as community) actually consider recommending the iPad, instead of saying that only Samsung is an option?

If you ask the same question on the apple community they will laugh at you for even comparing an Android device with apple, and they will tell you that apple is your only friend.

Shouldn’t we consider that we actually influence someone’s decisions, and knowing this, recommend only Samsung devices, we are not here to praise apple.

What do u think about this?

This forum is not representative. There are millions of Samsung users and how many answers will you get for your questions? 5, 10, maybe 20? And you think this means anything? Some random 10 answers speak for 100 million of users of Samsung hardware?

Same with Apple or Pixel forums. What you get is some biased opinions of very few.

That’s why it’s better to ask all subreddits. And carefully determine quality comments from fan comments. And beyond that, in depth searching about each product is important. Reddit, youtube, Facebook, even comments from gsmarena, as extensive as possible. Even when watching youtube reviews, it’s important to discern the reviewers’ biases.
