A very simple question, why when someone asks, for example, Galaxy Tab vs ipad on r/samsung, we (as community) actually consider recommending the iPad, instead of saying that only Samsung is an option?

If you ask the same question on the apple community they will laugh at you for even comparing an Android device with apple, and they will tell you that apple is your only friend.

Shouldn’t we consider that we actually influence someone’s decisions, and knowing this, recommend only Samsung devices, we are not here to praise apple.

What do u think about this?

Honestly it could be Samsung hardware isn’t very good and the iPad is maybe the best product apple makes. I’d never own and apple product and worked in the cellular industry for 10+ years . I use Samsung at this point as an only choice but their UI and hardware are awful for a premium product. I was getting 2-3 years out of LG V series phones until they got out fo the market. S21U/S22U both lasted less than 10 months. Samsung tablets get pretty bad screen burn in and have battery swelling issues " I use them in the hundreds if not thousands". At and enterprise level Samsung tablets are considered disposable and a year is amazing out of one , we get 3-4 years out of iPads. Longevity wise Lenovo tablets have lasted at least twice as long for half the price so 🤷‍♂️. Basically the opinion could be based on the application, Samsung tabs are just not very good. Apple people are a cult. Apple computers are over priced computers with shockingly poor service if your at enterprise level and very hit or miss in terms of quality. iPhones are great if you don’t user then and a charge 3 times a day scenerio if your a power user which alone makes them a non options. iPad is simply the best product they make and the worst seller in a dieing industry.
