Dear fellow SD users,

A trivial, point-blank question. Are you going to upgrade?

As I have the (former) top-of-the-line and non-modded model, I wonder if the improvements of the OLED version justify the price. I believe they do, especially in the long run. What’s your take? Will you hold on what you have or bite the bullet?

    Nope.

    OLED is nice, I also have a 48" Ultragear for my desktop, but on a smaller screen the difference is nowhere near as noticeable. Also for my use case, which is mostly emulation and less demanding titles, it doesn’t really matter.

    WIFI6 is nice I guess but irrelevant. It’s not like we’re constantly shifting large amounts of data.

    The memory upgrades apparently result in a maximum 6% performance increase on high end AAA titles. Hardly noticeable and well, when I have a beast desktop setup why on earth would I play Cyberpunk on my deck?

      Lol same here. Most of the games that I have on there are older titles across various consoles, and I have around 170. I’m good for the next 5-10 years.
