They complain so much about CPU performance, comparing every Snapdragon chip to the Apple A17 bla bla bla. In the real world, who uses these much power in a chip anyway? Heck, even midrange chips nowadays are very much capable.

To be honest it’s not that hard to tax the CPU that much, emulation, video editing both can put a decent load on a system. Yes most people wont utilize that much CPU processing on a normal day but in a time when phones cost as much as a decent computer. I don’t mind consumers nitpicking performance.

People griping at Samsung to do better only benefits you. Samsung losing customers because of a perception of lacking CPU performance only benefits you. Not saying that is happening but competition benefits you.

I mean look at it a different way. Look at those years where Exynos was really really lacking. How do you feel about that? Knowing that snapdragon users and exynos users paid the same price for those phones? That didn’t benefit you though because it wasn’t competition.

Nevermind the fact that these companies make the CPU and GPU a talking point by using it as a justification for the price tag by selling you on its increased efficiency and power each year. They opened the door.
