Hi everyone

I purchased a Samsung Galaxy A34 with which it is IMPOSSIBLE to record calls. It is an EUX version purchased in Italy (SM-A346B). I tried to change CSC but for this model only European CSC are available (Ukraine, India, Thailand, Israel, they are not compatible. They are only compatible with the SM-A346E model but I have the B model).

I downloaded the Cube ACR app from both the Play Store and Galaxy. This app works on my brothers’ Galaxy S23 Ultra and S21 FE, but on the Galaxy A34 I only hear my voice. Why?

I am very disappointed by Google’s policy of not leaving users free. In my country it is legal to record calls!

But you purchased it from a country that is not. So bad luck on your behalf. Should have informed yourself better. Is not Google’s fault nor Samsung’s. It’s a law from the EU. And as an EU citizen i am ok with it.

Recording calls simply is forbidden in many countries, so the function is not present when using a ROM meant for those regions. It’s common for all manufacturers and not Samsung’s fault for once.
