    Im expecting them to ship very close to release date. Else, there would’ve been no reason for such a short time from announcement to release. They are ready.

    Well, I am not sure it will the same day as it is ordered. Especially since it is 1PM or later in some places when the ordering becomes available. It may actually physically ship the next day or something.

    They said they’ll be shipping units out on the same day it’s available for purchase (16th). I don’t think there’ll be a queue at all. It’ll likely just say they’re out of stock when they’re out.

      same day my ass… ordered mine at 10:16PST 11/16 … it’s 11/17 4pm and no shipping which means now definitely won’t ship till next week… steam drags their asses on shipping with anything I’ve ordered from them. especially with Thanksgiving next week, I’m not expecting them to arrive before then. stupid release date if you ask me. should have released in October or after Thanksgiving, before Xmas.

    I believe they’ve said they’ve got them in warehouses ready to ship out, and there might be a queue again if they run out but there shouldn’t be months-long waits this time.

    Of course they also said they’d bring back queues if they ran out again with the LCD models, and they never did despite them being out of stock a lot in the UK over the last few months.

      As long as they’ve got decent stocks I can’t see there being a queue again tbh, the differences between this new version and the old are quite minimal so I expect many existing owners will be giving this one a miss.

      It’ll probably be people like myself that test the stock levels, i’ve never owned the first one but am now considering this one.

    Most likely being shipped near release day if there was a $5 reserve system again I’m sure we would’ve known about it also there is no supply issue like we had in 2020 those constraints are gone for now so there should really be no issue of supply here.

    Good question, I’m unsure if I should be getting 500 gb refurbished one or 500 gb OLED.
    If I’ll need to wait months I think I’ll go wtih refurb
